In this regard, DSP® has provided its customers with a system of after-sales services, to get its customers opinions, and also their views of the product quality. DSP® has also asked the customers to fill in specialized questionnaires, designed according to EFQM criteria, in order to evaluate the interaction of the firm and the customers.

2 Decomposition Ignition in air may occur above 315 c
3 Decomposition Products Co and Co2 are emitted when burning
4 Storage Conditions Keep in closed containers , Prevent exposure to open flames and Strong oxidizers .

C. POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS :

1 Carcinogenic Effect Carbon black has not been listed as a carcinogen by The National Toxicology Program (NTP) or The Occupational Safety and Health Administration ( OSHA )
2 Short Time Effects Carbon Black Dust may cause irritation of the eye.
3 Chronic Effects Dust concentration above the permissible exposure limit may cause temporary upper respiratory tract discomfort.

D. FIRST AID MEASURES :    

  • Eyes : Flush with water
  • Skin : Wash with water and mild soap or waterless cleaner
  • Ingestion : Entry by mouth is not likely to produce adverse effects
  • Inhalation : Remove to fresh air

E. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES :

  • Vacuum,sweep or spray with water and collect in a disposal container, Spilled Carbon black is not a hazardous waste

F. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT :

  • Gloves , Eye/Face Protection , Protective Clothing

G. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATION :

  •  Carbon Black is not classified as a Toxic or Dangerous waste under Council Directive 78/319/EEC and its amendment Bury or Burn in accordance with all
    applicable regulations Any disposal practice must be in compliance with European , National and Local laws and regulations.
